Games on Ubuntu
It was a really funny weekend - billard - poker - etc - but on sunday afternoon i decided to try to get some games working on ubuntu (feisty). After a few hours (and a lot of restarting my X-Server) I finally got some games working:
Warcraft 3 (ROC)
CounterStrike 1.6
Counterstrike Source
GuildWars
All of them work bretty much perfect - some better than on M$ Windoof.
If you want to how to get one of this game sworking simply mail me: webmaster@the-engine.at

anticipation
I am really looking foward to enter my car in about an hour. It will be hot as hell. I hate that. The weather is really anoying. Too warm april, cold and rainy may, ..... and at the moment it is a lot too hot.
This is what I see when I look out of the window:
AND I HATE IT! Why isn't it possible that the weather is comfortable (22°C, a few clouds, rain every monday evening from 10PM - 11PM.) and stays like that.
This is what I see when I look out of the window:

Whom should I talk to?
Someone - I won't use names here - told me "If there is something you think it is wrong, you should talk one of the people who are responsible for this!"
I spent some time thinking about this.
the responsible people:
Person 1
arrogance: 100%
willingness to talk: 0%
tells me that me and my colleagues are idiots without knowing me at all.
Person 2
arrogance: 100%
willingness to talk: 0%
Everytime I try to describe the problem he answers with something that has nothing to do with what I said and gets angry.
Person 3
arrogance: 100%
willingness to talk: 0%
Tells me about something that hasn othing to with this and then tells me a story about anything.
Person 4
arrogance: 0%
willingness to talk: 100%
Will listen to everything I say, but will forget it just a second later. This person has no willingness to change anything.
Person 5
arrogance: 100%
willingness to talk: 100%
Strange combination. Will listen to me, but won't do anything and then tell me he has solved the problem.
So whom should I talk to?

Monochrom
Yesterday I was walking through the deep forrest of Fresach. No I am not totally mad. I was looking for some cool locations to take some pictures and in fact I found some. During this 2 hours trip I took over 120 photos. Of course most of them weren't really usefull or cool. The other photos - just a few - are now stored at flickr - even the hdr pictures. You can watch them at my flickr album. http://www.flickr.com/photos/salendron
