Me and the EEE PC - review after 24 hours

I am using my eee pc now for 24 hours. I know that this is not a really long time, but there are some things I can already say:

• It really runs 3.5 hours without beeing plug in, just with the batteries.
• It is my best friend for readng news, chating with friends or using skype in front of the tv as well as in train or anywere else.
• I love it!

No words to say.... ...except of....

Feels like X-Mas, birthday and all other cool-give-me-presents days together....

Amazon?! WTF?

I was confiused when Amazon started to sell watches and shoes, but now they did something really wired.
This picture is a screenshot of the amazon homepage. NO FAKE!
They are selling sunglasses called "Pornobrille" (engl: pron glasses). Ok they also sell "rabbits without ears" , but to call glasses pron glasses is far beyond good and evil.

The end of my time as an apprentice comes closer and closer everyday.
I think now it is time to review these 3.5 years.

Strangers turned into friends
Interessts turned into knowledge
Anticipations turned into truth

I felt lost - I was found
I felt deceived - I learned to trust again
I was falling - I got myself up again

I the end I know that it was a great time for me to learn what life is like out there in the real world.

I turned from a script-kiddy in a dark room full of computers and without any light except of some screens and LEDs into a human living his own life with the girl that I adore, friends, clothes that aren't exclusiv black and the sun shinning through the windows.
Don't get me wrong I am still addicted to my hobbies like programming, photographie and stuff like that, but I recognized what is important to be happy and to have success.

Yesterday I was visiting the IT'N'T expo in Vienna.
I had a great time there and it was really cool.

There were so many different companies presenting their products and showing what they are able to do.

I watched a presentation of some kind of virtual meeting with a 360° camera (Kapsch) - very impressive.

LG showed their new displays, blackberry had some really cool blackberries (what else?), Logitech had their new keyboards, mice and a really cool 2MP webcam (8MP still image) and lot's of other cool stuff.

My personal highlight was that I was able to touch and try the ASUS EEE PC. Now I want it even more.
